Ponderosa Homeschool Co-op’s focus is to be a ministry of the Ponderosa Baptist Church in helping the families of our church as an extension of them to their homeschooling. We will be offering a monitored watch over their homeschooler three days a week in which we will help them complete their daily tasks on line, tutor when necessary, grade and record their work, provide with monitored interaction with other students, have CHRIST honoring activities which will include field trips, and from time to time offer special curriculum and trades to help develop them into a model Christian citizen for society.
The meeting place will be at the Ponderosa Baptist Church, using classrooms, fellowship hall, and the auditorium.
The curriculum that the home school students will be using will be Abeka home school curriculum and the Authorized King James Version of the Bible.
School materials will be provided by Ponderosa Homeschool Co-op.
Workers in the Ponderosa Homeschool Co-op will be on staff with The Ponderosa Baptist Church. However, there will be times when a volunteer will come and give up their time to serve in the co-op.

What is the focus of the homeschool co-op? The focus is first and foremost as a ministry of the Ponderosa Baptist Church to help the families of our church train and develop the mind of CHRIST in their children. This will be done by having a focal point on the Word of GOD, academics, and social interaction.
What kind of activities will be offered? The main part of our school will be offering a controled environment that creates an opportunity for each child to do their home school curriculm. Along with this, we will provide from time to time learning in extra curricular activities that will help explore interests, develop skills, and build social connections outside of the classroom, as well as offering exciting educational field trips.
