Jude verse 3, "Beloved... ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."
There are core beliefs (the absolutes) that have no gray areas of what we believe the Bible teaches. These mark our church and are known as our Bible convictions.

The Holy Bible is not just a spiritual book. It is the very words of GOD. Three powerful truths are looked at here:

Matthew 16:24, "...If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
What makes a believer a true follower of CHRIST? When the word "Christian" was first used in the Bible it was in reference to something. Do we really know what it means to be a "Christian" today?

Revival is when the church of GOD wakes up. We are praying, believing, and expecting the LORD to bring us a Heaven-sent HOLY SPIRIT revival.

The Praying Church
1 Timothy 2:1, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;"
The church is to be a house of prayer. The most powerful ministry going on in the local church is the praying ministry. Is our church a church of prayer? We are striving to be that kind of church.
World Evangelism
Ye Shall Be Witnesses
The Bible teaches that every believer is to be a witness. We are to be a soul winning church. We have been given the "Great Commission" from our LORD to carry the Gospel of CHRIST to our area.
We do this by being faithful witnesses every where we go, using Gospel literature, our voices, and our actions to show people the love of GOD in CHRIST. We also do this with specific Gospel ministries and Gospel campaigns to reach the lost.
JESUS died the penalty of sin and rose in victory to save sinners. We are a seeking church, seeking lost souls for the Kingdom of GOD.
Every Creature
It is our honor to take the Gospel of CHRIST around the world. We have been given the command to "...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." How can we at Ponderosa Baptist go into all the world? This is where "world evangelism" comes in.
We believe it is our duty to reach our generation with the Gospel of CHRIST. World evangelism is the heartbeat of Ponderosa Baptist Church. It is our privilege to support missionaries as they go into the world to reach the world.
